Boom Boom, Shahid Afridi, A new Breed of Cricket Stars

No one has ever ruled on the hearts of young cricket fans of Pakistan than Shahid Afridi. If this is said that Cricket seems to be very boring without Shahid Afridi, this will not be wrong. The complete name of Shahid Afridi is Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi, he was born in Khyber Agency on March 1, 1980. He is a wonderful all-rounder cricketer, he bats with right hand and bowls leg break googly and is considered to be an economical bowler and is surely a confirmed wicket taker in difficult situations.

His test debut is against Australia at Karachi on October 22, in 1998 and he started his One day career against Kenya at Nairobi on October 2, 1996. Last one day which he played was against Sri Lanka at Dhaka on March 8, 2014. 

He started his T20 Career against England at Bristol on August 28, 2006 and still on the cards as a best player for T20. Boom boom Afridi, as he is widely known, Just two days later after his

career start on October 4, 1996  had set the world on fire by slamming the fastest ODI hundred in just 37 balls against Sri Lanka, a record which is still looking for a breaker.

Afridi also is the youngest player to score an ODI century with his record-breaking performance.

Afridi rocketed 11 sixes and six fours during his historical knock to guide Pakistan to a comprehensive 82-run victory over Asian rivals Sri Lanka.

And now something about his family: The name of wife of Afridi is Nadia and he has four cute and intelligent daughters from her. He has traditional pashtuns culture in his home and his wife and daughters appear as moderate and practicing Muslims.
